Sometimes we need to talk ourselves up. To write what we need to say in some way that it makes people want to read it. But how can we call their attention? It's well known that shouting is not the answer. But neither is cutting arms and hands. And that's when we get into trouble.
There are some people who think that the best solution for their problems is bleeding. The biggest argument: "We need to feel a bigger pain than the one we feel inside, in our hearts". And believe me, we get them. We understand them. And no, we do not judge them, because nobody has the right to establish what's wrong or right when it comes to their feelings. But, let me tell you a few ideas about it.
Cutting theirselves won't make the pain fade away, but it will make it bigger. At that moment, when we are about to start cutting, tons of images are running over our minds, and we try to ignore them but they are too present, and we are not able to forget them and pretend that nothing has happened at all. And there's a knife, or a gillette that can bring us a little bit of peace. That sounds terribly contradictory, but for those who have experienced the situacion, it's true. But this way of making the pain vanish lasts just a few minutes. Our hearts are stronger than our arms. And yes, we write on them things we can't write on our hearts, just because we can't take it out and do it, because it's hidden under billions of cells that conform our skin. And then the blood comes out like tears. And here we are, bleeding ourselves up, writing stuff on our body, whatever, as long as we feel the sweet pain.

To write love on her arms saved us. It saves lots of people every day, who have not found the actual solution of their problems and feelings. But it's working in ourselves, as we spread the cause around, and more people are informed about it. And they get interested. Music helps a lot too. Songs always ask for ending, as it does our pain. We need to stop the bleeding, and we need to understand that Love is the Move, that Jesus Christ is the only one who holds us when there's one around. He saved us once, and he's willing to do it again. All he needs is you standing there, breathing, nothing else. He doesn't need your money, your culture, your language, your color skin, nothing. He needs your time and your eyes, to be fixed on His.
We all hope and pray the more and more people find their way, as we did, thanks to To write love on her arms and God, who put it on our way. So spread this around. There's nothing to loose and so much to get. We are alive. We are not broken anymore.
